Ph.D. in Leadership and Change student,
Annette Squetimkin-Anquoe (Cohort 6)
was recently honored and received an award from the Northwest Women of Color Empowered.
In awarding Annette this honor, the organization noted that she has spent more than two decades working to boost the health of the region’s American Indian community. Annette is a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and finds fulfillment in keeping her culture alive.
She acknowledges that over this span of time there have been many others who have inspired, supported, and worked along side her and are deserving of recognition as well, for this she keeps them close to her heart.
