The Ph.D. in Leadership and Change is a 63 annual-unit Program. Credit is awarded upon completion of each required learning activity as indicated below. Partial credit is never awarded and each of the required activities has a pre-determined unit-value.
The Ph.D. Program, consistent with the policy of Antioch University, uses a credit/no credit system supplemented by faculty evaluations. No official grades are awarded. Official grade point averages (GPAs) are not calculated for Ph.D. students. The Core Faculty Advisor upon request from the student may state an unofficial grade equivalent but only after the Program Office has received a written statement from an employer or funding entity requiring such documentation. An unofficial grade average will never appear on a transcript. Units are awarded upon satisfactory completion of the activities as indicated above. Until successful completion, the activity does not appear on the transcript.
