    Mitch Kusy, Ph.D. joined the Ph.D. Program as Professor of Organization Learning & Development in July 2005. Dr. Kusy is internationally known in the field of organization development, is a Fulbright Scholar (2004-09), the 1998 Minnesota Organization Development Practitioner of the Year, and has an extensive career as a global consultant in the areas of leadership development, assessment of organizational culture, strategic planning and team development. ~Dr. Kusy’s books include Manager's Desktop Consultant: Just-in-time Solutions to the Top People Problems that Keep You Up at Night (Davies-Black, 2007), The Little Book of Leadership: 50 Tips to Accelerate Leadership Potential (co-authored with Dr. Scott Allen, a graduate of the Ph.D. in Leadership and Change program; Moonlight Publishing, 2007) Breaking the code of silence:~How Prominent Leaders Rebounded from 7 Critical Mistakes (Rowman & Littlefield, 2005) and Fast Forward Leadership: How to Exchange Outmoded Practices for 21st Century Leadership (Financial Times - Prentice Hall, 1999) which was the 3rd best-selling book in the US according to "What Corporate America is Reading" (Knight-Ridder Tribune News Service, 2000).  Before coming to Antioch, Mitch held a tenured position as Professor of Organization Learning & Development at the University of St. Thomas, where he designed a doctoral program in OD for scholar-practitioners. Previous to this position, Mitch directed leadership development at American Express Financial Advisors; prior to this he was head of organization development for HealthPartners.  Before he entered the corporate world, Mitch was a psychotherapist specializing in individual, family, and group therapy.
